Parenting & Family Relationshps
There's often too much parenting advice out there and parenting books make it sound easy, but how do you really do it? You might have tried the strategies but nothing really sticks. Maybe you find yourself overwhelmed by all the needs of your child that you could barely keep up. Often, it can feel like you're being blamed or left to figure it out yourself. This can be hard to make sense of and how do you start.
How can therapy help?
As a parent, you care deeply and want what's best. But your intentions don't seem to get noticed or appreciated. Sometimes it can be hard to give what you haven't felt or known yourself as a parent. Therapy can help you bridge that gap. It can provide you with the roadmap of how to navigate your child's developmental needs and address their behaviours and emotions. Parenting doesn't have to feel like a push-pull and you can start to shift the way you relate to your child.
Therapy can be offered to parents individually or as a consultation to support you while your child is attending therapy.
